Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Fly InTo Nyerere National Park

Our first day will start with an early pick-up from your hotel at 4:00am. A professional driver will take you to the airport for your flight at 6:00am. Upon departure from your hotel, you will get and your packed breakfast for your upcoming safari.

Once you arrive at Mtemere Airstrip, our guide will meet you and take you on an early morning game drive through the park. After the game drive, you will enjoy a buffet lunch in the bush, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Later, you will visit Majimoto Hot Springs for a refreshing swim.

Finally, you will check into your hotel to relax and enjoy your delighted dinner.

Day 2: Game Drive & Fly Back To Zanzibar

You will start your day with an early breakfast before being picked up from your hotel, Selous Safari Lodge. Our guide will take you on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can enjoy the sunrise over the park. During this boat adventure, you can see hippos, crocodiles and various other animals.

We will take you on a bush walking safari in the afternoon and visit a Maasai village. This will give you a glimpse into the lives of the indigenous Maasai people, who traditionally rely on hunting and gathering for their livelihood. Later in the day, you can enjoy a delicious hot lunch.

In the evening, you will head to Mtemere Airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. Once you arrive, your driver will be waiting to pick you up from the airport and take you back to your hotel.
