Our guests will self-drive their quad bikes on an off-road adventure through some remote African villages, farmland, plantation, viewing baobabs and spice trees, across fishermen villages. During the tours you'll have the possibility to take stunning pictures of the beautiful landscapes and of the smiling inhabitants.
Guests drive their own quad bikes, accompanied by professional guides. During the tour, one guide leads the group at the front, while another quad with additional guide & mechanics closes the group at the back, ensuring safety, organization, and assistance throughout the entire route.
The tour explores remote areas, local villages, natural landscapes, and the coast.
Tour Itinerary & Key Stops
1. Makunduchi Viewpoint - Rural Zanzibar
The tour begins with a scenic ride offering views of Makunduchi, a traditional rural town in the south of Zanzibar.
Guests are introduced to the authentic countryside lifestyle, with explanations abaout local traditions, daily activities, and the cultural importance of this historic area.
2. Local Village - Mud Houses Visit
A stop in a traditional local village, where guests can visit authentic mud houses and observe everyday village life of a typical Zanzibari.
This experiences provides direct contact with the local community and insight into customs, architecture, and living conditions.
3. Baobab Land Crossing
The route continues through Baobab Land, a unique natural area chharacterized by majestic baobab trees scattered across the landscape.
Guests enjoy an immersive off-road ride surrounded by one of Zanzibar's most iconic natural environments.
4. Sacred Century-Old Baobab Tree
A dedicated stop to visit a centuries-old baobab tree, considered sacred by the people of Zanzibar.
Guides explain the cultural, spiritual, and historical significance of this extraordinary tree, an important symbol of local heritage.
5. Makunduchi Beach
A relaxing stop at beautiful Makunduchi Beach, where guests can take photos, enjoy the ocean views, and experience the untouched coastline of southern Zanzibar.
6. Jambiani Fish Market
The final stop is Jambiani Fish Market, a traditional fishing village where guests can observe local fishermen, their daily activities, and their characteristic white coral stone houses.
This stop offers an authentic glimpse into Zanzibar's coastal life before returning.
